Group Retreat Programme 2019-2020

Gaia House exists to offer the Buddha’s teachings of wisdom, compassion and meditation practice, for the wellbeing of all life. Right now, to protect life, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the decision to pause our retreat programme and are not currently taking any new bookings. We are unsure when we will be in a position to re-open our doors, but to stay updated and hear about our online offerings during this time, please opt-in to receive our e-news or follow us on facebook.

If you have already booked a retreat, please see our Response to Covid-19.

Jon Kabat Zinn retreat in the meditation hallIt is important to us to be truly inclusive and welcome all people. We invite you to be in touch if you want to tell us more about how we can welcome you.

Before you book your retreat, we recommend you read through our Frequently asked questions and Booking & cancellation information.

Dana: The teaching and service from the teachers, coordinators and volunteers at Gaia House is offered freely. Our retreat rates cover the cost of food, accommodation and teachers’ travel expenses. They also contribute to our management and support costs, including administration and maintenance of our building and grounds. During your retreat you will be invited to offer Dana (a donation) for the support of Gaia House and the teachers who have guided your retreat or practice. The tradition of Dana has sustained the passing on of Buddhist teachings for around 2,500 years. Before booking a retreat please read: Dana – The Buddhist tradition of generosity.
